About Karyne Messina

Equality and truthfulness matter in all relationships. In my role as an author and as a psychologist I want to help women and men achieve equality in all areas of life, at home, in the workplace as well as with friends and relatives.

Patriarchy and misogyny, often detected in some form of bullying, will never lead to satisfying relationships in any realm of life.  People cannot thrive if they feel less-than, threatened or not as important as another person or other people.

In personal relationships, equality is what matters. Historically, women have been mistreated by men who have put them down in subtle and in blatant ways. However, the reverse can also be true: men can be put down and treated unfairly by women. Women can also be treated poorly by other women; the same is true with men who demean other men. Whatever the case may be, exposing the problem is essential while seeking and finding solutions, often from a professional, to even the standing of each member of a dyad or in a group.

The same principle applies to companies. Those in charge of employee satisfaction and retention need to find ways to make corporate engagement a reality.

The goal of my work is to help people find equality and satisfaction in all aspects of life. This includes helping people have more optimal and equal relationships that incorporate trust and respect in all areas of life.
