I Believe

What kind of imprint will your life leave on our world?

About Michelle Hollingshead

I am a Leadership Coach and Culture Consultant specializing in developing conscious leaders, aligned teams and intentional workplace culture.  I founded Imprint in 2009 with the mission of helping individuals and organizations leave a meaningful imprint on our world.

I believe individuals and organizations fulfill their purpose when they are living their values in service of creating a better world.   We are being called to live more conscious lives and to embody what we care about.  What you stand for and who you are matters as much as the results you deliver.

Outdated ways of doing business are proving ineffective and there is a demand for greater inclusion, transparency and integrity.  I understand the barriers to transformation are stubborn and complex. Solutions must be holistic, systemic and address long held biases.  Cultural transformation and personal transformation go hand in hand.

My services include:

A partnership and process to co-create success and fulfillment in your life and work:

  • Discover and clarify what you want to achieve (vision)
  • Uncover purpose and values
  • Identify saboteurs and find fresh perspectives on challenges
  • Client-generated solutions and strategies
  • Responsibility and accountability

Primarily, I partner with individuals who are:

  • Changing direction professionally or transitioning to a new phase of life
  • Launching or operating a new business
  • Searching for greater fulfillment and meaning and want to make a difference in the world

Leadership coaching for c-level executives, managers and emerging leaders to increase self-awareness and understanding of impact on others and the organization using the following process:

  • Assessment
  • Debrief: assessment feedback to discover strengths and areas for growth and development
  • Plan for development including goals, actions and outcomes
  • Coaching on mindsets, behaviors and core leadership competencies
  • Emphasis on sustainable results, relationships and well-being

Individuals who are self-aware and engaged in inner work realize greater fulfillment in the workplace and take greater initiative to achieve success as they connect with their desired impact and purpose.

I work with executives, managers, and teams in Fortune 500 companies, privately held companies, and non-profit sectors. I have worked with organizations such as Procter & Gamble, Microsoft, Lexmark, Western Union, Cisco, Cigna, Johnson Controls, Nationwide Insurance, Brown-Forman, The Council of State Governments, Blue Grass Community Foundation, The Weekly Juicery and others.

From small businesses to large corporations, I consult on culture transformation with an emphasis on consciousness, well-being, and engagement in the workplace.  Each workplace has its individual culture and the culture is either an enabler or detractor of success and well-being.

In order to cultivate change, there must be examination and discovery at all levels of leadership. Culture initiatives must be tied to current business strategy and plans developed to shift mindsets and behaviors from current level to next level.

I use assessments, focus groups, and interviews to help your company see exactly where it’s at and where it’s going and how to intentionally co-create the aspired culture.  Then I work with you to design a customized program to execute the culture transformation strategy and develop leadership capacity.  Programs typically are designed to:

  • Increase self-awareness, systems awareness and emotional intelligence
  • Build resilience and increase capacity to adapt to change
  • Use tools and practices that are experiential and backed by the latest research
  • Develop innovation and creativity based on connection and inspiration
  • Cultivate mindfulness and the mastery of attention
  • Integrate results, relationships and self-actualization

I speak on mindfulness and compassion at work and I am a contributing author to the anthology, Compassion@Work:  Creating Workplaces that Engage the Human Spirit.

I completed my professional coach training through Coach University and am a PCC credentialed member of the International Coaches Federation.  I am a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute’s intensive Leadership program and hold a Masters of Education in Curriculum Development from Lesley University.
