Heartbreak

No matter how amicable (or vicious) a breakup is, you will undoubtedly go through several stages of breakup grief.

The first couple of stages might convince you that you would do anything to get your ex back.

During these stages, you'll probably have the saddest breakup songs on repeat to help you wallow, which is par for the course. In fact, it's been proven that sad music actually makes people feel better after a breakup than happy music.

The third stage of grief, however, is anger — it's that force that pushes you to finally see the relationship for what it really was and reach that final acceptance stage where you can fully move on.

You've sat and had time to think about all that time you wasted on this person. And it pisses you off!

I'm here to tell you that you're entitled to your anger. Anger is healthy and part of the healing process. And when the sad music doesn't quite line up with your angry emotions anymore, here's a playlist of songs about wasting your time on someone to get you through to that final stage of acceptance.
